Auckland (3 Nights)

Begin your adventure in Auckland, a dynamic city where urban sophistication meets natural beauty. Explore the Waitākere Ranges with their lush native forests, waterfalls, and scenic trails.

Visit iconic black-sand beaches like Piha, Karekare, and Muriwai, or head to golden-sand spots like Tāwharanui and Pakiri. Closer to the city, unwind at Mission Bay or Kohimarama, perfect for kayaking, paddle-boarding, or a relaxing seaside meal of fresh fish and chips.

  • 6 September: Watch the All Blacks take on the Springboks at Eden Park, one of rugby’s most iconic venues.

Rotorua (2 Nights)

Experience Rotorua’s geothermal marvels, including bubbling mud pools, steaming vents, and soothing hot springs. After exploring a geothermal park, relax in natural hot streams or indulge in a luxurious spa retreat.

The city’s stunning surroundings offer endless outdoor activities, from world-class mountain biking and trout fishing to hiking and horseback riding. For thrill-seekers, Rotorua boasts the world’s highest commercially rafted waterfall, as well as bungy jumping, luging, zorbing, and ziplining adventures.

Lake Taupō (2 nights)

Discover the breathtaking beauty of Lake Taupō, created by one of the world’s most powerful volcanic eruptions. Visit the Craters of the Moon to witness geysers, boiling mud pools, and steaming craters.

The lake offers opportunities for water-skiing, sailing, and kayaking, including a trip to the stunning Māori rock carvings at Mine Bay. Taupō is a global hotspot for trout fishing, particularly in the nearby town of Tūrangi, and serves as a gateway to Tongariro National Park, home to the famous Tongariro Alpine Crossing and ski fields like Whakapapa and Turoa.

Wellington (2 nights)

Arrive in New Zealand’s capital, a city brimming with creative energy, cultural richness, and natural beauty. Wander through hidden laneways to discover street art, or explore the waterfront lined with sculptures and cafes.

Don’t miss Te Papa, New Zealand’s renowned national museum. Take a ride on the historic Wellington Cable Car for stunning city views, followed by a visit to Space Place for a unique stargazing experience. For outdoor enthusiasts, Wellington offers cycling, hiking, and kayaking opportunities, as well as the chance to relax at Oriental Bay or trek the Escarpment Track for panoramic views.

  • 13 September: Cheer on the Springboks as they face the All Blacks as they play the Second Test at Sky Stadium.
